About Dennis Racing

Born to Compete

Dennis Racing was founded in late 2013 by Dennis Hays, a Motorsport engineer to expand on previous experience gained over the last 13 years in Motorsport. We have gained trackside experience in Britcar 24hr, Time Attack, CSCC, BRSCC Fiesta Championship, MSVR Trackday trophy and Trackday Championship. 

The teams first race car was a simple road car converted by Dennis himself and is now known as the DR1 (Dennis Racing 1). Built for circuit racing in the UK and Europe.

2013 – Dennis Racing Founded

2014 – MSV Trackday Trophy — Race leading pace from the first event. (Scrutiny at the current specification of the car meant that the following year rules were changed to exclude our car.)

2015 – Classic Sports Car Club - (Using the knowledge gained from previous years we were regulars on the top step of the podium)

2015 – Class champions — CSCC New Millennium

2016 – Class Champions — CSCC New Millennium

2017 – Class Champions — CSCC New Millennium

2018 – Support and development of Luke Bannister Racing in the BRSCC Fiesta championship. Resulted in crowning of 3rd in class in the championship.

2018 – DR1 was held back by a now outdated car that kept us off the top but on the remaining steps of the podium.
